Why My Salvia Divinorum So Fat?

Hi,guys
why my Salvia divinorum look so fat?is it normal?

sure it is a salvia divinorum plant? I think it looks more like any other plant but not SD.

I can't tell, maybe it isn't salvia divinorum at all. Or it's some kind of clone I've never seen befor.

edit: the longer I look at the pictures the more I believe that's not Salvia Divinorum

in my opinion it is not salvia divinorum, too. i am afraid that you spent a lot of money for the "wrong" plant...

Thats no Salvia Divinorum plant. You can't by salvia Divinorum Seeds, becausae they are very rare. kan you show us a picture of the full plant?

are the stems of your plants quadratic?
i really don´t believe that your plants are SD, because seeds are very very rare and because of this extremely expensive. additionally it is really difficult to let them germinate. all in all i think you should watch out for new plants...

I'd say it's some salvia ... the leaves look pretty much like salvia splendens: pic

as said it's extremely unlikely to get seeds, not to speak of germinating them.
try to look for plant cuttings of salvia divinorum. you won't find seeds. PERIOD!

actually it is possible to find salvia divinorum plants on the net, but they're quite rare. and you surely won't get them from any ebay-guy...nobody will ever sell salvia divinorum seeds there.

there are a few reliable guys out there who might have seeds (which might not germinate again). e.g. you might be lucky to buy some from Daniel Siebert, the most well respected researcher on SD. there aren't any seeds available right now, just on on very rare occasions, so you might want to check this periodically.

in case you're also interested in harvesting and using SD for psychoactive purposes: have you ever tried SD yet? it's quite special, there are a lot of people that don't like it so much...

btw, thats a salvia splendens AFAIK.

It´s definitely no salvia divinorum. The ebayer sells fakes. I think it is salvia splendens. You will get nice red flowers.
