Wo war das denn? Ist dieser Raum nicht geheizt?
MfG dARK

//edit by hogie:

@dark griffon: please answer in English only wink.gif

No, this room was not heated, because it was not used. This was the reason, that Salvia could flower, because the necessary dark periods were granted.

Salvia Plants Can't stand Frost.

Yes, I know. The temperature was about +4..6 °C (39..43 °F). All the flowering plants died, the other non-flowering plants survived blink.gif

Maybe I´ll make a new experiment in the future under artificial light. The only Problem is, that salvia D. only flowers in rooms, where you never brake the dark period.

Thank You Hogie: Your Forum is very Friendly.

It's OK for the Lights to be on for 5 or 10 Minutes to water or Feed in the Night time. The Cat sets security Lights off All night (it goes out after a minute.). My Plants blooming anyways.

Salvia is a Sound Sleeper. biggrin.gif (grins at silly joke)

I Wish you best of Luck.

It sounds very interesting for an experiment under artificial light. Salvia d. flowers look and smell very good. But for new seeds we should use differrent flowering clones. At this moment in Europe other clones than Wasson/Hoffmann are very rare.

Hi Hogie,

Because of "Genetic Crossover" at the Chromosomes in the First stage of (Gamete) Pollen/Seeds formation: even seeds fertilized by their own Flowers pollen are considered to be Genetically Uniqe Individuals, as recessive traits can come through.

More Later I have a Meeting.

Best, Carl

October 16th, 2006.

I've updated My Web Site.

I've got Mr. Daniel Siebert to Agree to SELL the Seeds we grow, any of us, Directly from his Web Site. http://sagewisdom.org .

I've Already got some of my work published on his Web Site: http://sagewisdom.org/hummingbird.html (he asked if he could use this .....)

I've brokered a Distribution Deal to sell the Seeds.

Thank you Guys for your Consideration: I hope a Few of you TRY to get Seeds. Maybe you Could Spread the Word this Page Exists?

Many Blessings on your Salvia Gardens!

Would one of you Kind people use the Bablefish German Flag to translate the english on that page to German? I'd Like a German speaking person to HONESTLY tell me Exactly HOW Bad the Translation really is ...

Perhaps you know of a Better translation service I could put there Instead?

And If TOO Much of the page meaning is lost then maybe I can Improve the english grammer so it can translate better?

Or Maybe the instructions can still be understood but in fractured German? Just let me know: is the Translation offered by my Page USUABLE?

Many Thanks!

Carl

Thank You. Last year at this Time all I had was a Ricoh RDC-6000 (2.1 Megapixel) Camera. The Optics leave a Lot to be Desired.

This year I bought an Olympus FE-180 SPECIFICALLY so I could do an EXCELLENT Job of Photo Documenting the ENTIRE Salvia Divinorum Flowering/Seeding Cycle.

16 days ago the first of my Plants to Show Signs: I've got Pictures of the Very Tiniest of Raceme Buds starting at Branch ends. I'm going to Try to Get "Exact Replacements" of these Shots but THIS Year with a Much Better Camera.

In a Couple of Months I should Have some Super Clear Macros of Seeds Ripening up in the Plant, Like this one:
Bild: http://members.cox.net/sageseeds/sexcycle.jpg
Only REALLY Sharp & Clear

bye.gif bye.gif bye.gif bye.gif bye.gif

Thanks again Guys ...

This is a very good idea. good.gif

A few good photographs can tell us stories and are international without (the terrible) babelfish-translations. Maybe the babelfish-translations can help some people, but they are very bad sick.png

The Photographs from last year are Marginal: the GOOD Photographs will Clearly tell the Story of THIS YEARS Seeds (Ongoing) as I get them.

The Next replacement Pictures will be in a Week, or 2 at Most, as the Racemes Lenghten out and prepare their Verticillasters .... Those Pictures will be for "Signpost 2".

You just look in every week on my Page ... Things Will Start Popping soon.

I'm Glad you guys speak English Well enough for me to Communicate ....

And YOU get to watch the WHOLE Story Unfold right before your Eyes over the Next 3 Months .....

It will look easy enough that you will want to do it yourself next year ....

Carl
